True to size, nice ring

I got mine with the gold plating. I wear a size 8 ring, but I was worried that this one would be too small. So I ordered it a size larger and, because I had my name engraved on the inside, I couldn't have it sized down. It was almost impossible to find a place that sold those little go inside the ring and adjust against the finger; all I encountered were horrid rubbery-clear plastic doughnut type things that fell off. Finally found an independent jeweler who fitted my ring with the proper ring resizer. Most jewelers will not sell these, in my opinion, because they want the extra money they'll get from cutting up your ring and having to re-engrave it. Lesson learned: order your true size.

I gave it only four stars because the black background is coming off. I didn't like it particularly so I'm not upset--but if you are drawn to the black-on-gold design and contrast, don't order this one!
